Education levels

how does it differ from other levels?
D3
A D3 degree takes about 3 years and is more vocational, with a depth equivalent to a technician or middle-manager qualification. Some programs use a specific commodity focus, such as palm oil agribusiness.
D4
A D4, or Applied Bachelor's degree, takes about 4 years and emphasizes practical competencies and industrial application. For example, it may focus more specifically on food agribusiness and agro-industry.
S2
An S2 degree deepens analysis, strategy formulation, policy, and agribusiness research. Graduates are typically geared toward roles as analysts, policy managers, researchers, or lecturers.
S3
An S3 degree focuses on original research and the development of theories or strategic solutions for agribusiness issues. The duration and final outcomes are more in-depth than an S1, with the main output being a dissertation.

Check the program's own accreditation rating (not just the campus's) on official sites. International accreditation is a plus for certain fields.

Student–faculty ratio & how to calculate it

ratio = active students ÷ full-time faculty
Example: 600 students ÷ 25 faculty = 1 : 24
Ideal: ≈1:20 for STEM/science fields, ≈1:30 for social sciences/humanities (per Ministry of Education guidance).
!The smaller the second number, the more attention each student gets. Above 1:40 is worth flagging.
!Also check faculty qualifications (Master's/PhD) and whether there are industry practitioner lecturers.
